Mike As I posted on the Team Camaro pages, the Team Camaro and Team Chevelle families will keep you in their thoughts and prayers as I know the members here at sYc will do likewise. If theres anything we can do let us know.

I just read this stunning news upon returning home from work. I am a very active participant on www.nastyz28.com (http://www.nastyz28.com) and a member of its Second Generation Camaro Owners Group. I believe "Mad Mike" established and maintained this FINE web site almost singlehanded along with some volunteers. This coming weekend Mike and Family were to have attended Camaros at Carlisle. The 2GCOG will have many, many members in attendance at Carlisle solely as a result of Mike and his excellent web site. This news is just absolutely terrible and in spite of everyone's prayers and well wishes, I believe this event is going to necessitate a good old collection of $$$$$ when we find out to whom and where....
Respectfully, Chuck Sharin

I never met Mike or his family, but thru his excellent web site and his association with Joel Rosen I feel like we are old friends. There is never a good time to get bad news, especially to someone you consider one your own.My sincere hopes and prayers go out to Mike and his family for a full and speedy recovery and pray that GOD takes a personal interest in this one.------Joe.

I wanted to thank you guys for your concern & support.
Everyone's now on the road to recovery. Seat belts & airbags and the design of the astro saved our lives. Speaking to the Boss in the split second before the impact most likely had a hand in this too. More than I could think. I'm sure you read the story over on my site, it's there if you want to peek at it, so I'll spare you the details of what happened.

Joel finally got ahold of me today to wish me well. I had hoped to go to the supercar reunion, but that will probably be doubtful now. At least there's a "next year" for me & my family.

I'm still coming to grips with what happened, and what me & my family will be going through for the forseeable future.

They say a picture is worth 1000 words, so I'll close with this. There's more at:

Thanks again for your concern.

Everybody's nightmare come true. Good luck Mike. And you are right I've had to spend a little time at Egleston pacing the floor myself this year. There is no better place for your son to be.
