I know not everyone fills out their profile fully, but based on those that do,which of the 50 states,& Foreign countries have the most members here?
I think a regional breakdown would be interesting.

Yes, by all means put me on the Illini list. I still own property in Chicago. I'm only here for the lower taxes, cheap gas and less road congestion (except for I-80/94).
This might be a good time to ask for a list of the Chicago area weekly cruise nights. I know Lombard is on Saturday eves on St. Charles and Elmhurst has changed locations, what else is there?
Ok ChrisS,The Illinios Governor has taken Sympathy upon you to let you in.
I-80/94 is reason enough!
I'm sure there are more so chime in anyone....
Just off the top of my head:
Mon.Pm-Lockport
Wed.PM-Elmhurst & Lemont
Thu.Pm-Crystal Lake & Joliet & Frankfort
Fri.PM-Downers Grove & Wheaton & Richmond
Sat.PM-Lombard

Thanks,
Are Lockport, Lemont, DG and Wheaton all held in the old downtown areas?
Where is the RM held at? (I-290/53 construction ARGHHH!!)
I need to try and make one of the Lombard nights, maybe even this weekend.
One more that I'm aware of if anyone finds themself in the area is Crete, IL on Thursday eves.

Hey Chris,
DG and Wheaton are in old downtown. Not sure about the others. Lombard is indeed a good show. However, not sure how the 4th of July weekend will effect the weekend cruise nights.
I Believe those shows are held in there respective old DownTown areas.
Downers Grove just had their Annual HeritageFest carshow last Sunday.
Good to see some faces from here there, and their Legacys.
Frank M.,are you up yet?

I just got back from the Elmhurst cruise night with my Monte SS. It sucked. I don't know how great it was before the changes but it blows now. The best cruise nights IMO are Downers Grove & Lombard.
Ya...I just went buy there tonight too.I don't like it.
That diagonal parking really mucks things up with traffic passing by.I speak from experience.
Someones Classic car will get dinged pretty quick backing out of there soon I'll bet.
Last year it was much better, with one big strip of road to park and cruise up & down on,now it's all around a block with people doing their errands and work.
Frank,Lets go Home....

Hmmm, and to think I was considering taking a drive over there tonight. Glad I didn't waste the effort.
The Batavia Steak & Shake is listed as having a Cruise Night on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, from 6 to 9 pm. Last night, seeing as we had no plans for dinner, and it's only 4 miles from my house, I told Marilee "let's take a ride up there". We did, got there about 6:30, and there were zero cars there. Guess we can scratch that one from the list, too.

Yuck! I don't like Elmhurst anymore. I agree Lombard and DG are tops.
I guess you could say I had a problem with diagonal parking at Aurora's cruise night. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
Anyone planning on Lombard this Saturday? I think tomorrow (Fri) is going to be a rainout.

A problem? I'd say it saved you a trip to the gym to do an upper body workout /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif As your son gets bigger, you'll need the upper body strength to carry him around!
We're heading off to Arizona in the morning [doesn't everyone go to Phoenix in July?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif] so I'm out of the Cruise Night scene for a couple weeks.

I heard Lombard is not having a cruise this Saturday due to the 4th of July weekend it would be a good idea to call first. We should all set a date to go to Lombard one Sat night.

Doesn't anyone like Rolling Meadows any more. I went last Friday. It was soo crowded that I had to park across the street. It's not as good as the original location...but it's still pretty good. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
