Just wanted to know if anyone knows of this car and was the transplant done at a Supercar dealer. Looks like a very nice ragtop inded. Any input?

It seems to be a awesome car, but I don't recall the article saying anything about a day one installation/conversion /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I agree, but it says the install was done at "the dealer". Plus the current owner bought it when it was two years old, so that would make the purchase around '68. Would be interesting to see if current owner kept any paperwork from when he bought it. Any input on the rear SS 427 emblem? Seems odd, but maybe not. It is one rag I would love to own.

I thought the article stated the transplant was done before the original owner picked it up at the dealer??

I haven't seen the issue yet.

Is the car black on white? If so, I saw it at the Summer Nationals last year. Very nice but I don't remember the owner claiming the motor to be original.
