Rob or Tom, I'm curious about the counter column under views of a thread. Does it count only registered user's viewing it; or does it count all viewers whether registered/logged in or not, plus non-registered viewers.

And what about those who put the forums page on their Favorite key,and bypass the homepage altogether? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Umm, I'd guess it counts TOTAL views, but to be honest, I'm not sure. The more I think about it, I'd say total views from registered/nonregistered users is correct, as it adds +1 on each page refresh.

As for the counter on the homepage, and bypassing, that's how my computer at home is set up, and I just grab the forum URL from the address bar at work and bypass the homepage also. Dad, on the other hand, goes through the homepage each time he checks the board. But, the counter only counts hits on the homepage. I've got stats somewhere on hits on the forum page, and started to add a counter, but it would slow it down...
