I was recently told by someone who is a Supercar history buff that the painter for Motion Performance who did the Balwin Motion Supercar stripes back in the day was Joey Buttafucco's father, anyone have any knowledge of this?
Thanks,

Hello Motown,
The fella who told you this was his first name DAN?
Joey B's father's shop--[ Complete Auo Body]--don't know if or when, he was doing paint/body work for Motion /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif---But I DO KNOW ------ULTRA AUTOMATION--Gary Kupfer[Gary The Local Brush] ,in the late60's/early70's ,was doing MOTIONS Custom lettering/painting/pin-stripe, on customer cars and Motion track cars, corvette fiberglass work ---I was sent to Gary by Motion to have pin-stripes/painting/custom body work done-on several occassions to my Chevelle. In fact he did the custom ribbon paint work on the 1970 Baldwin Motion Race Camaro----Ertl die-cast just released.------ -----JoeG
Motion used a few different body/paint shops.
Gary The Local Brush did work for Motion for many years and I know he did the the graphics on my 87 Motion Monte Carlo SS.
What was the name of Buttafucco's shop?

I believe Cap Butafucco was the father of Joey and his brother who painted the Motion cars, Joey is no longer involved, and the other remaining brother sold the shop to a national franchise, to the best of my knowledge

This is all more interesting history that adds to the Mystique of the Motion cars.
Thanks,

Joey Buttafuco has been to busy hanging out with Dennis Hoff at his Las Vegas brothel the Moon Light Bunny Ranch. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I hear that Ron Jeremy hangs out there as well.
