La Harpe or ReUnion? Like the idea of seeing the supercars drag race, but to meet Helen Gibb and see the old dealership would be hard to beat also.

Got any comments of which one I should do. Both are would be an estimated 13 hour drive and with a 16 month old and 6 month pregnant wife.

Dennis, you always have an answer for everything.

It wouldn't be too bad if the other house were available but the hotel could get quite expensive. I am sure your daughter wouldn't mind us............. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Why did I not think of that. So who is putting me up? I got a feeling I'll be single if I do that.

Sam loves the car. I have driven the car more with a baby sit than I have without. SHE is the reason I have to trailer it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I can't believe she said we can go! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

David,

Did you ever contact Mayor K.B.? I spoke with him on the phone the other day. He said many of the new ZL1's were going to be there as well as several of the '69 ZL1's. He told me that Portfield's, Barnhardt's and Capt. Carl's 1969 ZL1's were going to be there for sure and POSSIBLY Charlie Lilliards but he didn't know for sure on Charlie's as apparently Charlie had a conflict in his schedule.

This might be one of the FEW times that we have so many of the new ZL1's together along with the original ZL1's.

He also told me that Scott Settlemiere was going to be there from Chevrolet and POSSIBLY Dr. Jon Moss. Might even be some other important folks there that you might want to autograph your car.

Just something to think about.............

The house is still empty, but the garage might be housing a "Little" something for a while!!! Keepin' my fingers crossed./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Oh, and let's not mention that "D" word!

Based on the car you own, a new ZL-1, the LaHarpe show for sure. Like JD said, it is basically more in theme with the car you own. I beleive the new ZL-1 cars even get tent space alotted. Don't forget the Monmouth cruise the night before. That is just as good as the show! See you there! Dave

"D" word, what you afraid to say my name. SAY IT! DAVID.

Cuz that is who gets the air mattress in the garage. I won't need much.

I tried emailing the mayor but it came back as undeliverable.

THanks JD, I actually emailed him a couple of days ago. I received a response.

I am going to make hotel reservations this eveing. Anyone know which is the better way to get to Monmouth. 67 or interstate. I am trying to figure how long it will take. Right now it looks like 15 hours driving 60 at 909 miles. Some one tell me where I can take some miles off or at least time. Don't think I'll make it to all of the cruise on Friday, unless the trip is quicker than expected.
