Picure of the Motion Monte Carlo from car magazine 1988.
The Monte Carlo is one of the last Motion supercars built in Baldwin NY. Joel bought it new from Lion Chevrolet, pulled the 305 engine replacing it with a Motion built B&M supercharged 350 with 20lb nitrous bottle in trunk. Joel said it ran like an old 427 car. The Monte Carlo was featured in magazines and had a small cover picture on Super Chevy. It was used as a B&M blower show car at two SEMA shows.

Frank, nice Monte. This Motion MCSS is also an Aero Coupe. The Aero cars were built to race like a HP COPO car. That big back window gave them 5 mph at Daytona. Joel added a big Motion wing to it. see pic

JoeC my car is the standard coupe/non Aerocoupe and is all original. The aerocoupe just adds to the rareity of your car. Man after looking at the pic of the Motion Monte it makes me want to chop my car up! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif No just kidding. It is a cool car and will definately be a future classic supercar. Joe are you the second owner?

Joe one more question. Are there any known 70-72 Motion Monte Carlo's?

Frank,
I don't know of any early Motion Monte Carlos but I wouldn't rule it out
