Don't know if it is real or not, but check out the interior!

COPO,
Yeah, I know,-- I'm like white on rice today--couldn't make it to Englishtown--so I'm in-between my computer and fixing a broken water pipe and not a happy camper /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif----Anyway I can't help you identify the Maco as Motion, but the button -tuffed interior reminded me of the Hot-Rods I use to see in my juvenile-deliquent days.Always luv'ed it in the 55/56/57 Chevys -----Joe

It sure looks like Gary Volpicelli's 72 Maco that was at the '01 Supercar reunion (albiet w/ an ugly rim/tire combo slapped on it). The last story I'd heard on this car was that somebody traded it for a decked out Harley. I think this is the same on that was on eBay some months ago that bid up to 18K and I don't think the reserve was met. I'm not positive whether they're the same car as Gary's but the similarities are striking if not. Check the attatched pic.

I think you are right, it does appear to be Gary's old car.
Agree those new wheels /tires sure look spiffy (sarcasm on). Another prime example of someone with their head up their *ss. Doesn't have a clue how these cars came equipped and are supposed to look.
