Spent yesterday at Hickam AFB at their open house watching the Thunderbirds do their thing. Always a good show.

I assume you had the high show !!! The coolest part of the show is when the solo jet is flying slow in front of you and you kind of lose track of the 2nd. solo...he comes from behind the crowd nearly supersonic with afterburners blazing and scares the living crap out of you. I used to take my family every year to Scott AFB open house...my daughter who was 3 at the time started watching out for the tail guy every year after we got nailed the first time !!Blue Angels are awsum too but the F 16 puts on one helluva show. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

They did that pass also. Neat thing about it is that the Runway and the taxi ways are right on the water so they really make some noise.
