My 1st Reunion. What a great time!! Was fortunate enough to meet Joel, Marty, John Mahler. What a great group & what great history. Helen Gibb is one of a kind, my 13 year old son thinks of her as another grandmother. The 1st owner of the Motion 'Ratbird' showed up, Greg Guffey & what a wealth of knowledge he has of this car. Got some great additional history on the car, including that the original Pontiac engine in' Ratbird' was put in Marty Schorr's personal GTO!! He & Joel remembered this! Great people there, my thanks to Steve S. for his work getting the Motion guys to the show. Tom C., great job as well. Great to see & meet some fine folks! A few pics to follow..... Greg Guffey (original owner of 'Ratbird' who trailered the car Motion when it was new), Marty Schorr & Joel.

No doubt about that. Maybe even more amazing than what they bring each year is the fact that they can only bring a portion of whats in their collection! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Joe and Erik definitly had an awesome collection on display. While I was drooling over their stuff I got to talking with Joe and came to find out they are from the same stomping grounds where I grew up for 22 years! Next time I'm home for a visit I'll have to look you guys up. We can go and grab a few beers or something.

67 Yenko Camaro in Deepwater Blue. One of the guys had original window sticker for his Butternut Yellow very early 67 Yenko Camaro. Title on the window sticker says "1967 Yenko 427 Camaro Stomper". So in 1967 there was a Yenko Stinger, Stormer, and Stomper. I guess Yenko liked the "S" words.

Yeah, I heard that about the burnouts in the pits. It was directed at a certain blue Yenko Camaro...I had him getting his air pressure in check, and told him to leave a short patch of posi's to check the contact patch. Little did I know he'd take it through 3 gears!

Dad's first burnout was a little silly. Maybe it was the 90 degree turn in the middle... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
