What's with the funky black hood stripe? Looks like there may be hood pins, too? Is the rest of the car striped ?

Jeff,
The stripe looks similar to the stripe that was on Charlie's #3 ZL-1 when Porterfield first found the car years ago. It was not uncommon to see the Camaro cowl hoods that came without Z stripes painted this way within a few years of new production. Unless it was a stripe delete car the ones that came new with no stripes were the COPO cars and ZL-1's.
Thanks,

Jeff,
The black stripe on the hood was only part of the package. The back of the rear spoiler and the rear panel where the tail lights are installed plus the panel below the rear bumper were all painted black. This paint work was done by the dealer in 1969 as part of the purchase price for the COPO Camaro. Two factory options are M22 transmission (without a console) and NC8 Chambered Pipe Exhaust System. The car was delivered in May of 1969.

Seems the car is equipped very similar to my COPO, but for the dealer installed options and where it was sold. Does anyone have vin and trim tag info for this COPO.
