There is a thread posted on my website forum www.corvettes-musclecars.com (http://www.corvettes-musclecars.com) by a J.A. Ferguson in reference to a collection he says are his cars. He left one message dated Sept 17, 2003 listing approx 40-50 rare American cars, and another was just posted today Oct 9, 2003 listing about 30-40 rare Foreign exotic cars. He did not leave an email address, but his I.P. address is from the "Moody Bible Institute" in Chicago. Maybe he's a Pastor with an awesome collection. Or it could be a hoax. Anyone have knowledge of this collection of cars, or is someone just playing games? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Kevin, I noticed that last week about his list of cars and thought it was odd that he didnt leave a contact or point of contact since he visited your site. Also says he doesnt do tours ETC just takes them out now and then.
Just noticed he put up a new list of another 30 or so cars. very impressive!!!
A Long shot, but I will ask a person I know, who may know of this claim.
This is the first I've heard of it.

It's probably Belair. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif He's just been holding out on us on what he really has hidden away. And the way he's been acting lately, he needs to be at a Bible Institute. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Perhaps someone needs to reply to the post that he entered on SuperCars website and tell him he should visit this site and he would be more than welcome to chime in.....I can do it if someone doesn't do it first?..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

First of all I just want to compliment Kevin on a great collection of rare supercars and vettes. This is a fantastic collection of the truly rare musclecars. I was wondering if you knew of any other collections as complete and fine as yours when it comes to these really rare pieces. As it turns out I have a few of these myself and I am interested in acquiring more of them. I am looking at a 71 Baldwin Motion Corvette. Anything you can reply with would be great. I want to find several more quality rare factory original musclecars.
Here is a list of my musclecars, vettes, and a few others. This is a private collection that I do not display at all to the public. But they get shown off occasionally.
69 Baldwin Motion Nova SS 427

70 Baldwin Motion Chevelle SS 454 Phase III (recently restored)
70 Chevelle SS454 LS6 (very original)

68 AMC AMX 390
70 Ford Mustang Boss 302
70 Ford Torino Cobrajet
68 Shelby Cobra GT 500-KR
67 Shelby Cobra 427 (original not kit)
There others including foreign exotics like Lambos, Ferrari, and Porshe, but those probably are not interesting to anyone here.
Once again great collection of the finest supercars and vettes. It seems almost to good to be true. I have to come out to Seattle to see it all. It is beautiful up there.

Thank-you for the compliment on the collection I just enjoy performance cars. I do not like classic euros like old Ferrari and Jaguars. I also have no interest in old american fender cars like Cords, Auburns, Packards, Dusenburgs, etc. I guess Chandlers collection is very impressive but I liked his muscle car collection more, although the oldies are worth a lot more. But who cares about value if you can't drive them. I enjoy muscle, exotics, vettes, and some hot rods with a couple classic american pickups. I am actually in talks with a gentleman about posting my collection on a website like this so I would appreciate any suggestions from anybody. He has some other projects ahead of me, but I like his work so I will wait. Also I hope to have a better place to show my collection in about a year. In response to your question (and I apologize for the wait I just forget I had a post to respond to) the exotics and a few others.

What are the details on the 1970 B/M Chevelle?
Aside from the one in the OC Collection, and Kevin S.1969,I never heard of any others.

Mr70, I think Stefano was joking about Mr Gasser, like I was kidding Belair (although it's good to hear Belair say he's cleaning up his act/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif). The question is: is J.A. Ferguson joking? I do see someone else responded on my site to Ferguson's thread today, saying he didn't believe those cars exist(used more choice words than that though).
Thanks Kevin.
Stefano you suck. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I checked with two sources here, and none have heard of that collection.
I too am thinking this is a Hoax,Because anyone with a collection that big here, would have been well known about by someone by now.
My only other thoughts, are possibly the Ricobene (sp?) brothers from over here? But I don't know them that well...

Geez guys, I did use the /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif to signify tounge in cheek, not serious. I did call a couple of members of the Ferrari Club to see who if anyone in Chicago owns an Enzo, F50 as well as F40. I was told that they knew of no one.
What I want to know is why no COPOs or Yenkos in that collection /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
No,you used this guy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

From JA Ferguson:
Whoa Rob I never meant to make anybody mad! It is hard for me to believe this collection but I have been working at it since 1993. like I said I am working on a website deal so be a little patient with me because computers are not my strength. Also I don't think anybody would bother to lie like that anyways, its just a waste of time. I just thought there would be a little more interest here in the cars I have. I would appreciate ideas on the site for these pieces that I DO own! You will notice that I am to particular in my chooices to just think of the "greastest" cars out there. Some of these are fairly obscure vehicles that most don't recognize the value of. So I am glad that you did.

Mr70,
Definately not the Ricobene Collection. Unless, Sam and Frank went on a huge buying spree within the last few months.

Weird I made a post in this thread that is not here now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Stefano & Rick last I heard was that the Ricobenes were liquidating their collection. A friend of mine bought a 70 Chevelle LS5 454 convert NOM without any paperwork that was an older resto for 38K from them last year.

That was Mr. Fergusons 15 minutes of fame.
I went back and read those post on Supercars website. In his first post he said the '70 Motion Chevelle was recently restored and the '67 Cobra was original and not a kit. His first post was clearly meaning he had the real cars and not models. He rebutted that he called his cars "pieces" (his term meaning models) but also calls Kevins cars pices as well.
He only confessed they were models when someone pointed out his IP add as the Bible Institute. Probably afraid someone would come back to his employer or himself.
Guess it comes back to the meaning of what the definition of "is" is. We can thank Bill "Stainmaster" Clinton for this.
I read his recent response as Back Peddling.
He bit off more then he could chew.
