Hey you 1970 fans,
I have been looking for a 1970 dealer's album, but it just dawned on me that with the late release of the 1970 model year for Camaro, the dealer's album may be filled with info on the 1970 (1969 style) Camaro instead of the 1970 ("seventy and a half") Camaro.

Does anyone have this album, and can you tell me which Camaro is featured? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Thanks,
-Sam /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My 69 Album shows all 69 model year without a hint of the 70 style change, come to think of it I have never seen a 70 new style Camaro in a dealer Album until 71. Hmmmm..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I have 4 of these.2 of them are early editions, and show the Camaro & Corvette sections empty.
Even the Paint and Fabric charts are bare.
They each have a cover page that says,Camaro or Corvette section to follow shortly. Not promoting the 1969 models at all.
The 2 later versions I have, show the new updated pages, with the new 70 model design.
This is why you see varying prices for this album. Some come with the Camaro & Corvette sections, others are sold with out it.
It was up to the salesman to add the revision pages once they were mailed to him.
Even in Canada,and Mexico.

I've got a '70 album that's got duplicates of a lot of the info (I *think* it's the Camaro/Corvette info). Last time I looked at the paint chips and such still looked mint. Anyone got a '69 album they'd like to swap? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I recieved my 70 Chevy album today and its a Jan 1970 printing. It does contain 70 Camaro and Corvette information. It also mentions RPO-LS7 as a 460HP Aluminum head 454 available for 70 Vettes. We know it was cancelled before 70 Vette production started, but what month? Were there any test models made? Were they later destroyed or had engine transplants before being sold as demos?
