Hey guys this is a really cool sight. I have checked it out several times but just recently joined so I could ask the experts a question. So here goes.

I recently purchased a 73 camaro with a engine that is not the original motor. The motor is a 327 GM casting 3932386 with a vin stamp 192019650 date code K10 26 FB. All I have been able to find out about this engine is that it may have originally bee produced for a 69 camaro. Can anyone here help me on some information and is this engine worth anything? I moght sell it. Thanks for the
help guys. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

327/235 HP engine out of a 1969 Passenger car with a powerglide tranny. Can you recheck the partial VIN n the front pad again. should be 19(X)and then the last 6 of a VIN. The X will tell us what plant. No L or N and no camaro engine but thats already known from the FB.

Also this site can come in handy with your 73

If it is indeed a 327 it's nothing special I dont think.I do think they used that same number on some 350's and that could have more value as it would be used in SS cars.Is it a 2 bolt or 4 bolt and are you sure it's a 327 look at the balancer and see.Not sure about that date code either?
Just my .02 cents worth

Thanks for the info on the motor. I have been a member on the SGCOG board; for well over a year. That is where I first found this sight. Between the two sight I have learned more than I ever thought possible. Thanks again for the help. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I second that. MadMike's website is extremely useful. I have 1970 Camaro with 18,000 original miles -- any question I have had about the car the website has taken care of.
