I can't make up my mind whether that is absolutely gorgeous or butt ugly ! At 100k I will never know...Trepanier did the 62 sedan which brought raves...I personally didn't like it but thats JMO...this one kind of assaults the brain too...

I agree Bob! I saw this car at the SEMA Show, and there's no in-between...you either love it, or hate it. I think I like it.

Couldn't agree with you more Belair (on both counts). At least the color on this one doesn't look like something that came out of your nose.
20" wheels and rubber band tires! Where is this hobby going, and why is it in this hand basket????

It kinda reminds me of one of those funky late 60's Hot Wheels cars. I kinda expect to see it jumpin' up and down at a stop light in East LA...
On the other hand, that roof line on a dropped car looks pretty cool, too.

Acually let me clarify. Because I do agree with the other opinions here, especally about the wheels and it sits to low for my taste. The construction of that thing is very nice. It's very clean and uncluttered. But it needs to be raised up about 3-4 inches and a set of 15" deep dish Cragars put on it. IMO /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif OH, and a Hurst T-handle shifter /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif And put the Chrome and stainless back on it too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif
And would it kill ya to Hang some Fuzzy Dice off the Rear View Mirror.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

Actually it is very nice...but it needs the valances filled in IMO.....I don't think you need downforce tunnels on a car that big !

I think I overheard the guy at SEMA saying that they planned to re-do the valance. It definitely needs attention in that area. Paul Atkins has done 2-3 street rod interiors for me...he really does a clean job. Eye-candy...gotta love it!

Great car, I liked the lack of chrome, all converted to brushed stainless / brushed aluminum. Great interior too (except for some back stabbing emblems in the seat backs).
But, the Buford next to it was nicer (and had the trophies from SEMA to prove it)

I really like this one (soft spot for 62's). And although it doesn't have the sheer brutality of the 'Chicayne'...I would rather be seen in this one. I really dig that color too, it looks a bit like a recent Chrysler truck color. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Bob,
It was a Skylark, gotta like those little "A" bodies. Had a nice big Buford motor, really smooth compound curve engine bay covers which hid nearly everything. Nice Green coloer too. For some reason I did not take any pictures??
