Too bad it is not a Super Duty 455 Formula, only 43 made in '73........ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Where is this car located?

Judging from the site info and the blue license plate, I'd say Cul-ee-fo-nee-uh (Arnold impression).

This car's still not very common though; only 750 Formula 455's made?

Got the figure from some site. Don't know if it's true, hence the question mark after the figure.

Looking through the Firebird Red Book, it doesn't give a number of 455 Formulas, just the SDs and plain old V-8s, which could be 455s or 400s. Of course, that book I have is 11 years old, so maybe it was updated? The other book I have doesn't say either, total of V-8 Formulas was 10,123. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

My buddy has a 7000 original mile 1971 Firebird Esprit. He found the car in a barn and did a frame off resto on the car. It has tons of documents. It is a heavily optioned car despite its lack of power. I think the car has 15 factory options(including a/c, p/w, p/b, p/s, vynl top) and 2 add on options (dual exhaust and gauges). It is a beautiful car and is worth nothing more than $15000-18000 max. This car is desirable. If I had some room in the garage I would restore that f-body it and enjoy it! Could someone please help me out and post a picture. Thanks.

Those Firebird have aged well. I'm starting like them more and more.
