A buddy phoned today, says he found a 1967 Chev Biscayne, 427 Powerglide, Sedan, 47,000 miles. Did they make these in a 4 door?

I thought maybe as cop cars.

Who knows???

THERE IS A FEW 427 4-DOORS OUT THERE. I DON'T THINK YOU COULD GET A BIG BLOCK WITH A POWERGLIDE IN 1967, BUT I MAY BE WRONG.

Yes there was a few 427 with a powerglide I just hear of a 67 vette yesterday that has all the paperwork showing it came with a powerglide I did check the books and it shows a 390 hp tripower 427 with a powerglide

You could get a big block with a 'glide in '68 too, I know '68 SS396 Chevelles were available in this configuration...by '69 only TH400 automatics were going behind big blocks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Ya, you're right, the seadn isn't really that desirable, but it's the wierdness that makes it kinda neat. Probably would draw a crowd at the Carlisle car corral.....
