just got this rearend BV 0206 G What was it used in? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hey Eddie,

A 68-69 Camaro had a BV 4.10:1 Posi rearend option. Do you have a casting #?

BV rear axles were used in 1965-66-67 Chevy II as a 3:31 w/Metallic brakes.
Also used in 1968-69 Chevy II & Camaro as a 4:10 Posi.
02=February
06=day
G=Detroit Gear & Axle
Look for a casting date on the Housing.

The guy i got it from was racing it in a 70 Nova here's the casting # 3894860NF

A 3894860NF casting # is a 12-bolt BV 4:10 posi out of a 68-69 Camaro. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Is it worth anything to anybody i don't want to sell but I would trade for another rear axle I'm just gonna race it
It does have straps welded to the top and bottom of the tubes
