Can any one give me a ballpark range in price on what this engine may be worth. Every thing is original or rebuilt to orginial specifications. This is a long block with original exhaust manifolds, intake mainfold, heads, 3963512 block with suffix T0127CRV, carb, valve covers, alternator, distributor and even the cowl air cleaner. Completely ready to install.

Just a ballpark.

Just for reference.
My friend has a VIntage 1970 CRR LS6 December date for sale.
He has the Block,Never bored which has Tona date & CRR suffix with no VIN# stamped anywhere.(never did either)
With 291 heads,Al.163 intake,4492 carb,and wants $6000.00.
He DOES NOT have the Crank,Cam,pistons or rods, water pump, alternator,or Distributor.
IMO I feel his price is 2-3K to high.

While we're on the subject...what is a LS6 Chevelle worth. Car does not have motor or trans but does have the original rear (I'm told). Car needs resto, needs floors and probably quarters. Owner has build sheet for documentation and says he know where the original motor is. I may go look tomorrow. The car was originally silver, bench seat, 4spd, cowl hood. He's asking $13K....seems high to me??? Any thoughts.

Bill,

I'll try to round up all the important numbers tonight off everything that is attached to this motor. I don't want to crack the pan off just yet since its so fresh from the machine shop.

I agree with your thoughts, but see if that engine can be found and purchased, while considering his car price.
I would try to buy both if possible.
