Super Rod has a nice build up article on a Triple <font color="red"> RED </font> 57 Chevy. Nice 3 page pull out. Copy on the way to LV. There is a similar Car like that owned by a Jennings White??
He attends most SuperChevy shows in the Midwest and eastcoast area.
He ALWAYS goes to Gold Class,and then ALWAYS wins BEST of Gold.The year of car may be different then Steves,but I think he is going for a record of most wins ever at a SuperChevy Show....he is that Competitive/Persistant.

Banks recently came out with an 8 place turbocharger system [one for each hole], so the '57 is in Wisconsin getting the EFI LS1 fitted with that system. In fact, the entire engine room is getting redone...should be pretty cool.

I think Micky's putting a GM crate "ZL1" Ram Jet engine in the '55, all chromed/polished. Just what I heard...

Hey Fred; the modifications are being done by my friend Tommy White, up in Port Washington. He owns Aloha Automotive (http://alohadreamcars.com/) and has built/modified several street/show rods for me, most notably my '48 Chevy truck that won GoodGuys Truck of the Year. His main gig is MOPAR stuff, but he's beginning to see the light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
