My only question is WHY! That is such a unique color on the Yenko Chevelle, that one would be hard to replace, it looks great! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I actually tried to buy this car from Chuck at one time, I've got to agree it's got to be the best Chevelle out there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I would like to rephrase that, "Best Yenko" in the country! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

I was reminded that there is a Red Yenko Chevelle coming out soon. I'm sure this car will be on par with any in the country! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Frank, I would have to agree. Something about seeing a "survivor" Yenko Chevelle, with open headers and slicks, leaving the line at 5000 RPM. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

That orange one has to be the best...and I sure hope you get what you want out of it too Kevin ! Not many Y Chevelles out there..or ANY COPO Chevelles for that matter.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Hey Kevin...your post to sell the Chevelle was post number "666" for you...maybe that's telling you something? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif....do you have something up your sleeve???...GO PACKERS (maybe it's because orange is one of the Bears colors.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

Actually, it was post number "665". He hit number "666" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif when he answered the question about the wheels. Kevin, you need to hurry up and put up another post! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
BTW...Nice "Yenko family" you have there! I LOVE your Chevelle and Torque Thrusts are my favorite!

why compare a race car to a restored car, the butternut yellow car is a very nice original untouched survivor, the nicest out there. these are 2 very different cars.

Red Yenko sounds familiar. There is a guy in Ohio that has had a lot of COPO Chevelles come through the doors, might have to check. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I realized it was not the ex-RM chevelle when I looked at the Hale resto site, that G-red Yenko chevelle will make 3 or 4 G-red Y-chevelles found? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Really nice car. We judged it for spinner at Vettefest. We got very few points off on this car. As I recall all work was clearly better than factory. If it sold at that price this may be a new record for a Yenko Super Chevelle...

Aren't we all upset when they take points off !!....we should be glad they don't put their glasses on /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif !!A few years ago on my car they said they have to find something wrong...there are no perfect cars...I kindly agreed and took Best of Show...but each year they found something else to pick at ! They gotta find something..if they would just ask we could show them a ton of stuff !!

Congrats on the new ride Mark!, That is definatly, with out a doubt, the best Chevelle in the Country...I was about 2 minutes late on making an offer on this car myself. Glad to see it go to someone who knows what it means to own a car of this caliber. Good Luck to you Mark! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

I want to say THANKS to all that have posted comments and to let ALL of you know that Dealing with Kevin was STRESS FREE!!! No PROBLEMS!! Also alot of you guys might remember that I have always wanted this car and had my chance to buy it and thought then that it was too much money in 2001 (LOL)
I am now looking forward to attending some Chevelle Shows especially since it will be the 40th anniversary for Chevelles. MERRY CHRISTMAS, Mark /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Congratulations Mark and family! It is a great car of course having a twin to it may affect my opinion. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Mine is driver condition and is fun to drive around. Most people seem to like the color combination as it gets a lot of compliments. Here is a picture I took yesterday (12/21/03) at the local beach in CT overlooking Long Island sound. That is LI on the horizon. It was about 50 deg off for bikini weather so the beach was empty. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Congratulations Mark & Ginnie. It is one of the best, and Orange is my favorite color. I also had contact to buy it a couple years ago as well. It was another car that I wish I didn't let slip by; but it is going to a great home as well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I don't think Santa can fit it down the chimney though! Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
