Congratulations, Kevin Hand! Here is a great quote from the article...

"Remember the grin and the gleam in the eye of that guy who always went just a little too far? Kevin has it. Frankly, you can't honestly own a 427 Yenko Nova without it."

Congrats Kevin A fine supercar indeed. I noticed an error in paragraph 5. The ZL1 Alum 427 is listed as 9561 and the Iron 427 is listed as 9560.

If you ever get a chance to see this car, don't miss it!

I thought this was the car that Kevin had at the Reunion two years ago that was Restored by Randy Miller ? Different car or restored again ?

It is a different car Charley. The car at the reunion was Ralley Green.

Charley, I think Kevin had Ricky Smith restorations in Ararat Virgina re-restore this car to the highest caliber, and in my conversations with Randy Miller he admitted that these cars would need some freshing up in the next few years, even though being in a climate controlled garage the entire time since Randy restored them. I never saw the Rallye Green Yenko S/C Nova outside of the garage, when he built his new house, whick was only 3 miles from his old house the car was hauled in a enclosed trailer, so in short, yes its the same car, and a awesome car at that!

Ricky Smith Restorations of Ararat, VA., did not do a complete resto on the car. he went through the car front to rear and corrected a few items. we replaced the front grille with a 69 NOS grille, corrected the headlight eyebrows, ( thanks to brian henderson) and corrected a few bolts here and there, painted beneath the cowl screen the right color, replaced the tach, detailed the rocker panels, and still have a few items left between jobs. If ricky weren't so backed up with other supercars i could get it finished to my liking, although its close. 1 of 7 i'll take my time!
