Tom,
That looks like a really nice straight original car that Grandma drove. All those years and never molested, that is not found often. Amazing how in the sixties many people bought cars that were similar in color to the kitchen appliances of that time period. Looks like it would be a super easy and affordable resto.

Matt,

Thanks for the good words. It's sure isn't anything fancy, just a real solid survivor. Hopefully someone out there in Carland is looking for their Granny's SS. Any Takers?

Maybe you guys are onto something. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif I wouldn't throw it out of my garage, regardless of color. Heck, they can't all be red.

I think that Camarojoe still has the 60's/70's carpet in his house. I always tease him about it when he shows pics of his stuff! I bet it looks like a set from some old porn movie in there! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

OK guys, if you are looking for a clone, or a car with lots of bondo, or air shocks, or catalog speed parts then this SS car is not for you. But, if you are looking for an "real" ss396 car, and if you like matching numbers, and original sheetmetal, and paperwork, then this car is for you. Spring will be here before you know it. You could be driving this car instead of trying to get repop quarters to fit on some other project. If you are concerned about delivery I can help with that too. Digital photos, copies of docs, and even a video are available. Looking forward to your calls or e-mails. Thanks, Tom Williams http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Spring is almost here and Karen and I are moving to a new house and need to clean out the garage. Looking for a buyer who appreciates originality and solid metal. This 67 Chevelle is a real car with paperwork and matching numbers. You can see a web page ad on the Team Chevelle site. I have been asking $19k, but will consider a reasonable offer from a site member. Might be forced to become a hipocrit and go to Ebay(god forbid). Looking forward to your cards and letters.
