I think the trick is to wind it up at the horn and let her go at full RPM, I use left side keyboard for gas and right side to shift, if you shift quick enough you can keep the RPM's in the yellow..my first run was 20 some seconds.

17.20's are the best I can seem to muster. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Looks like it needs some deep groove pulleys the way that amp hand swings throughout the RPM range. Cool game though, anyone ever play "Dragster" on the Atari 2600? Very similar, although it allows you to ride the clutch a little to keep the R's up. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

God YES!
I still have my 1978 Atari 2600 in the box.
Can't get enough of Dragster, while playing Rush "Distant Early Warning" in the Background or any of the other games too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
