I don't know if anyone knows what information Jim has. That's a lot of nice documentation with that car and the shipper form is loaded. The interesting thing with that car is that the partial VIN is not stamped into the block, just the engine code which matches the P-O-P. A lot of 67's did not get the partial VIN. Sam, did you see the 68 RS Camaro in the Trenton Times that's for sale? Says it's matching #'s with 62K miles for $16K.

Jeff H,

In 1967 it seems that the only cars that got the VIN on the pad were the, L48, L35 and L78 optioned cars.

Both my '67 210HP 327's don't have VIN stamps on them either. Only my gold RS has much documentation and the build/engine code does in fact match the one on the POP.

Heck I even have the original owner's notes for checking the gas mileage for the first two years. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Good luck! I bought my son a supercharged V8 Mustang and he still managed to "borrow" my '95 Z-28 while I was out of town and tried playing bumpercars with some garbage cans. The Camaro lost. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Don't fight it, just buy your son an old-school muscle machine http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My little son Benjamin is only 2, but he's got a lot of work ahead of him with his project car = the '69 Nova in my sig. Are you telling me that when I'm not around he will be taking my Yenko out for a spin? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif My wife still won't drive it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Pic is right before I bought it, unfortunately, it doesn't look much different yet!
