LaDonna & I want to thank all you guys for your support. Troy was able to come back to the reunion with us and celebrate my birthday while there. I will always remember the 2 passes he made in the Deuce, he was so excited. He was also a car guy who monitored this board regularly. He was not only a son but a BEST friend. We are in shock and already miss him terribly. Fortunately he passed quickly and did not suffer. We rec'd the news from our younger son Sat while in Scottsdle and returned home immediately. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan therefore a memorial has been set up in his name with the Earnhardt Foundation/ Feed the Children and donations can be made on line if anyone wishes. Sorry for the long post, I have been trying to learn from Charley and keep it short, but needed to ramble. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gifThanks again, Jim & LaDonna

Jim, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the conversations we had with Troy when he was finishing high school and contemplating a career in the automotive business. And then talking with him at last years reunion and learning that he had followed his dream and was in the auto business. You and LaDonna should be so proud of him.
Sincerly,

Jim,
I never had the pleasure of meeting Troy and can't possibly imagine how you must feel. My worst fear is out living my children. My son just turned 29 last Friday and I look forward to many more good times with him. However, we have no guarantees.
I too would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to you, LaDonna and the rest of your family. Let's pray Troy is already standing beside Dale learning all his tricks and sharing stories. Godspeed.

Thanks again to all you guys!! Even those these are very tough times we also have good news, our younger son(who had to break the news to us)is as I type, sitting at the hospital with his wife(went in the day Troy passed)awaiting the birth of twin boys Cole & Cody who now weigh approx 5lbs each. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif This could occur anytime. LaDonna hoped they would come today since it is her birthday. Again the support of all our friends has really helped us make it through the toughest time of our lives. I will post the results of the delivery as soon as it happens. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gifJim & LaDonna

Had a celebration of Troy's life last night at the local golf course. Somewhere between 350 and 400 people showed up, WOW were we overwhelmed. It was supposed to start at 5 and the lobby was full at 4:30. By 5:30 cars were backed up to the main road trying to get in. Someone said it took them 45 min to get in. It was a wonderful way to remember his life. The majority of these people were there because Troy had touched their lives in some positive way. The ages were from 5 to 85. We are so proud. The posts to this board and the PM's have helped us make it through this very difficult week. Thanks to all of you guys. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif I did not realize the human body could manufacture so many tears! Cole & Cody came at 1:15A.M. Weight 5lb12oz and 5lb10oz. Mom and babies are doing fine. This definitely adds a huge ray of light to the otherwise dark month we have had. They have issues with genetic birth defects but nothing that can't be fixed. Thanks to all on this board who have shown compassion and support to us during these times. Jim & LaDonna (P.S. Dale Jr. won the 500 for one of his biggest fans, Troy) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
