No, and the majority of people in the country must not have seen it either....because we sure didn't back them...
Yes...but not that specific one.
I have seen Vietnam themed License plates from the 70's that were sold by some local VFW's around the Country.
Similar to those Little Keychain License plate idents you see at swaps.

I thought it looked cool, and I liked the color combo. I bought it and plan to put it on the deuce for the coming show season. I was curious if you guys had seen them before. Is it circa 1968-70, or is it a later production?
For $10, I couldn't go wrong http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cool era correct plate Marlin. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif I think I've seen similar ones in late 60's early 70's Honest Charley catalogs. Are you gonna run it with an "A$$, Gas, or Grass...Nobody Rides for Free" frame? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Marlin that is really cool! My father has a pin similar to that which he got back in 1969.

A friends father has the exact same plate on his barn and I have tried to buy it from him but he wont sell it. I think it is a very cool plate and Belair62, I dont want to say speak for yourself because I am sure you did back them and those that didn't are Damn sure not going to admit it today . . . but dont say things like that here or anywhere. Those that died or were injured will NEVER be forgotten . . . http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I'm hoping for some good conversation from the plate at the shows next year. I think it's a cool plate, reminds me of a lcoal friend who came back from 'Nam and drove around looking for a '69 Z28. He passed a used car lot in late '69 or '70 and saw the hood stripes of a Yenko Camaro, and at first thought it was a Z. When he stopped and looked, they turned out to be Yenko stripes - no big deal, then he saw the 427 emblem! During the test drive, he bought the car. When I see him at shows, he usually has some type of Vietnam related shirt on or something. Good guy who went through a lot over there - if he likes the plate, he gets it!
