I was told that this car recently changed hands and is currently located in New Jersey somewhere.
Was wondering if anyone knew of it or its whereabouts?

I don't know what happened to it, but I talked to the owner when it was for sale and I think he said there were no numbers on the engine due to it being decked for a rebuild.

If the info is correct and it is a 9400 mile car #s matching it is no wonder it sold. Besides the value of a #s matching low mile Z it may have historical TA race value as well, depending on who raced it and where.

If this 68 Z is a #'s matching car as the owner states, then the price of $19,800 is one heck of a deal!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

yeah, i feel so sorry for those people that have their original blocks decked without knowing the process will wipe out the pad number, poor guys. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I`m confused!! someones link shows a Z-28 street car NOT a race car. That green Z-28 raced SCCA Trans-Am with side glass? and a full interior?? somehow I don`t think so!! But then again what do I know I vintage race a Corvette...
