We just got back from setting up at the Pittsburgh WOW auto show. Right across from us is a LS/6 Chevelle convertable. Fathom blue/white top and guts. The car has a ton of options. Does anyone out there know this car? You don't see many...BKH

That gentleman lives in my town. Nice car! It's not a documentated LS6 though. He told me he built it. I've seen it at a lot of the local cruises. What car do you have there? I have an 85 IROC there with a blower on it.

Just so there is no confusion here, the car in question does in fact, belong to my friend and fellow ACES member Andy Haas from Gibsonia, PA.
If you see Andy at the show, please stop by and say hi...you will find that he makes no secret of the car being a CLONE. He will also be the first to tell you he didn't build it, but he bought it. the car was turned into an LS-6 clone from a guy in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Andy always loved that Color Combo, and so when he came across this Gem, he bought it b/c he fell in love with it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif I can see why.. the car is stunning and always draws a crowd. Though I will say, as nice as the car is... Andy is even nicer! A true example of what the hobby is about.. Great cars and even Greater People!!

Well said. Andy is a great fellow entusiast. Even though many of the LS-6's in the Chevellabration '04 show were clones, Andy refused to put his car there. Stand up sort of guy!

I thought he said he built it but it was real noisy the night we spoke. Either way he has no problem saying it's a clone. I must admit, it's very high up on my favorite car list. Extremely well done!

I agree completely. The car, and Andy, are class acts. I too was impressed by Andy's obvious absence for the photo shoot on Saturday morning at CB '03. Too bad since the convert that was there was nowhere near the caliber of Andy's! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif
