Does anyone have any leads on a 67 Impala SS 427 Coupe??? Have been searching for one, but only seem to find them after they've been sold. Had one of these when I was in high school (yellow on black) some 30 odd years ago, and would like to have one again. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. Dwight Kolves email [email protected]

Someone give me some input on the engine stamping and the POP....this thing is all the right colors etc.. but is it my eyes or is there a faint "T" between the T and the 1 in the stamp and isn't that POP kind of naked and blank looking....SS427..where are you...

The guys on the Chevy Talk site seem to think it is a clone. The POP is missing too much info.

50k would not be totally unreasonable for a real one I don't think...JMO

In the Chevy Talk discussion about the car, I think someone said something about only 12 were built. If that is right, I think it would be worth more than $50 if it is real. Even if is a clone, it's a great looking car.

Funny to see this thread reappear Bob. Dwight did in fact purchase my car from me and attached are some photos taken many months ago. I believe the car is almost completed now. Sure do miss her! Took me 20 years to buy it back and due to my customer restorations I realized I would never get it done and Dwight was headed on the right track. Glad to see her back on the road again! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Dwight and his wife were great to deal with and have made me very happy with what they have done. Good man to do business with.
