I know it isn't really a "Supercar" by any means but I thought someone here might know a little about these things. I think there is one in my neighborhood that has been sitting in a driveway for years. It doesn't look to be in that bad shape but I was wondering if they are rare? Would it be worth looking into to fix up or are they just not collectable? I think Corvairs are kind of interesting cars and this one actually looks cool with the extended sail panels and all. Any idea what these are worth and is there a collector market for them?

The Fitch Corvairs are collectable mainly to the Corvair die hards. One thing that increases there value is if the title says Fitch Corvair on it, because that means the car came from Fitch's shop and is not a Corvair that someone either brought to his shop and had pieces added or one that just had a few mail ordered bits that were added by the owner.

I've seen one that had a gold plate on the dash that said
"Fitch Corvair made for XXXX" XXXX being the guys name who ordered it from Fitch.
