Looking for information on a 1969 COPO 427 chevlle. The guy who has the car is the original owner of the car. The original drive trane has never been out of the car. He is about to start a restoration and is trying to find out how many were produced and what the value of the car would be whe it is finished. It does not need any sheet metal replaced. It has been setting for inside for several years. Any information would be appreciated.

Without knowing the details of the car it is hard to say but a guess would be between 50-100K. A One owner Copo Chevelle is pretty neat. Before he touches the car I would really recommend he have someone look at it that collects these type cars. Is it old crummy orig paint ? Depending on the condition he might be hurting a piece of history by touching it. There are many here that would be happy to advise on what to do with the car.

I have never seen the car myself. I am trying to get more information and will try to get some pictures. The car is located in West Virginia and as I understand it, has always been there. I will post more info as I get it.

The car has th MQ coded engine, M22 transmission and and the guy says original 4.33/1 gears. He went to buy a family car when his first child was born and went home with this Chevelle.

Nothin' wrong with that.....seems to me there would be plenty of room for a husband, wife, and one child in a Chevelle :naughty:
