If I was to find a 69 that was done in phase111 gear in 1971
by Motion Performance does it still hold any kind of value
or is it just the cars that were delivered as phase111 from Baldwin that have value?
and lets say the car is in half decent shape is it worth the effort?
The Price of the car is worth it's face value as a non Motion car. any input in this one ?

Sounds like a great buy. The key would be having paperwork to back up the car. While it is unikely to bring the $$'s of a Baldwin Motion Phase 3, it is certainly VERY valuable with the right documentation. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

What paperwork would be needed just a receipt of some sort ?
any other type of documents that should be asked for ?

Ask for the original conversion recepts and the copy of the work order. You may also want to see if the engine pad has been stamped by others than GM. You will also want to pay Joel his fee as his records for 1971 are more complete than the very early ones.
