New Toy : Quiz

Just bought a new toy to play with this summer. I don't know what most people this makes a true musclecar, but I think this one has all the right stuff.
It is Roman red with a black convertible top.
It has factory tach and gages, factory 2x4 intake setup,
4-spd, and 4.11 posi,http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif.
It is #1518 out of 10261 total cars.
Anyone have a guess what it is?
I'll post pics later this week, when I pick it up.

No real gages on a 409.....Roman red was used a few years...got to be a Vette ??!!

1960 Corvette with either the 283/245 or 283/270 engine (both had dual carbs).

Belair - you maen the 1956 and 57 color, Venetian Red? My favorite vette color! Much more orange than Roman Red I believe.

Venetian...thats the one...dealer in Florida has one that was for sale but now in his private stash...simply stunning in 58 with those trunk strips...S-K ...Rio was big car......may be close to same color too.

Here are some pics of the car from a few weeks ago, before the snow. I have asked VintageMusclecar,http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif, to do the resurrection of the carburetion system and re-assembly of the body. ------Also used to have a nice original. It was Nevada silver and I believe its out in your neck of the woods now, Charlie. Had 355s and would do 150mph without even sweating. One of the greatest driving Vettes I ever had...............Bill S
