The car in question has the 427 Dual quad 425hp eng,4spd trans, red int and ext,52k miles. Its about 75% done right now,no rust ever, last registered in california in 1974.Tons of paper work and window sticker, all # match.(so he says)Its not the lightweight version, but still should be quite desirable when completed. What do these cars sell for in #1 condition?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'd like to know too. I used to own one of these exactly as you describe.

I think there was a lightweight version that sold at Barrett-Jackson for maybe in the 20's ? I don't think they bring much. Maybe look up auction results.

Hmmmm.... I don't know, if factory lightweights are only bringing $20k, I think I'll take them all. I think these are $75-100,000 cars every day of the week. I've heard the 'glass doors bring $6-8k by themselves.

Boy oh boy, Wayne! First you stray far from home (V8Buick), and now you're asking about F*rds? What's a fellow PS-Chevy guy to think!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Are you feeling bad about taking the top spot in Stanton last year and gonna give us slower guys a chance by running a FoMoCo?? LOL!

Those cars were a whole lot more a few years back...I wouldn't mind owning something a little newer...like 427 Fairlane !!!
