Tommy you will LOVE DHL http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif Was with them for 15 years as a fleet supervisor working 16 hours 6 days a week That company is run by a band of gypsies http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif They are a non union company. They WILL break airborne sooner or later to get rid of there union they bend the rules and break the law all the time http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
VERY POOR MANAGEMENT after getting hurt on the job I was pushed out the door like an old rag I would not and will not do things their way to break the law to save a few dollars http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif and don’t even get me started on how they run their airline fleet http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Don’t know how they get away with it but sooner or later the FAA will shut them down I would love to see them go out of business Have seen way to many people put their heart and soul into the company and end up with nothing but heart aches A very poor company to work for http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Norm, I started working for Airborne when I was 23 starting as A driver then lead driver and eventually supervisor over the entire fleet which is owned by A contractor. We have no unions in Airborne down here like the stations up North. All fleets are contracted out down here. Since DHL took over, all our procedures have changed and become much more complicated although The fleets are still owner/operator contracts. I haven't found any positive things about DHL yet and that includes all that ugly Yellow they are "trying" to make us wear. I had been working elsewhere for awhile and just recently hired back in with my contractor.. Well see how things go for A while.

Hi Bob, I work in the No. Ill district and have worked in this area all along. I started as a full time employee as a mechanic at 21 years old. I have seen management come and go some good some bad. The only complaint is they never let hourly buy the stock until the early 90s. In the early 90s when the stock was available to us I actually sold my Yenko Camaro and bought some. Actually I dont know what would have been a better investment The Yenko or the stock. I have made it this far and also have met some great people and acquired some life long friends, the rest should be easy.

Owned "New Orleans Information Services" (computer networking, web design and Cable/Fiber plant) since 1996 here in New Orleans, LA. Grew into Orlando Fl, Hattiesberg MS and Mobile AL with the tech boom of the 90's. Bought two $100,000 + Hummers (before H2's) for advertising (wrapped with the compnay Logo's) and client relations. They were bigger pices of junk then what I remembered them being in the Air Force.
Lost everything in the Tech crash and shrunk down to just New Orleans and 5 employees (remember the picutures from silicon valley of the x millionaires living out of their jags and bmw's). Things are picking up and we are now opening 2 new offices in Mississippi, Jackson and the Gulf Coast. Dream is a CoPo and a Yenko for the next advertising campaign! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif
