I have a new set of '69 vette factory sidepipes for my Motion car and when I took them out of the corner that they have been standing in for the last 10 years I was upset to see the crosion coming through the perfect chrome.

Who is the experenced place to send them to or is it something that could be handled by any chrome service.

Has anybody had this problem? Both sides and the centers are involved. It just makes me sick. I had always hung on to them and the pipes for over 20 years. Only paid $175 for the whole setup years ago but now they are not usable. The ones on the car are even worse.

I also need a DS PW door panel and black leather seats for a '69 if anybody knows of any nice ones for sale.

I also need motion valve covers and emblems for the '70. It had MT's on it when I got it years ago.

Could the M/T valve covers be corect for your car? The Gold/Black Corvette that belongs to George originally had M/T Valve covers on it when built by Motion, not the Motion type that are on it now-based upon the Speed & Supercar article photos. I've seen 2-3 other cars built after '70 that were conversions or Motion built cars that had M/T's

Paul's Chrome in Evans City PA does very good work. I used them for my outside door handles. I also used a place in Nashville that does show chrome for custom bikes, to do my valve covers. It's a 5 step process, not like the flash chrome on GM parts. Much deeper....almost blue.

Bring your wallet for either one.

It just may have came with them but I just don't like the M/T's look. I can always put them back on when the day arrives that I am forced to sell her cause my health has failed. Hope it is a long time from now. I am looking forward to showing both cars together around the country in the next few years. Shame the colors don't match but they will still look good together under the lights.
