Looking for any photos of 69 BM Chevelles, magazine or otherwise. Under hood shots would be a big help also.

Micky,
There is a gentleman by the name of Kevin Suydam. He has an incredible collection of musclecars. His collection includes "survivor cars", "frame off" restoration cars and cars waiting to be restored. He ownes a 1969 Chevelle Baldwin Motion SS427 Phase III. On his website, is a picture of it in its "found" condition. Visit his website. You will be so impressed. I would love to be Kevin Suydam for a day! http://www.corvettes-musclecars.com/home.shtm

Thanks. I know of that one already, looking for something thats original from the day as far as pics go.
Although not a 69,Did you check out the Green 1970 BM Phase III SS Chevelle in "American Muscle Cars" featuring Otis Chandlers Old Car Collection?
Maybe it would show you some similar details in the engine compartment area/interior.

I will have to check that out. I am sure Camaros were similar as far as engine components go also. Not much out there for Chevelles.

I seen some on the search on the site here. No under hood shots though. Real cool car.
There was an article by Motion (427 Screamer) underhood shots of 427. I think someone posted this article sometime ago. What did you want to know about under the hood? JoeG

Just doing some home work. Something in the works.
Underhood details I have, unfortunately old underhood photos of my Chevelle I don't have.---Basicly all the PhaseIII cars were the same, except for the sometime substitution of parts,we're not talking about a specific engine plant, just the PhaseIII package. If you need some Details from my working on the engine compartment over the years feel free to ask. Good luck with the photos---JoeG http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Joe G. It was a pleasure working on your 69 BM Phase III Chevelle. I still have all my notes from when it was restored. This car is truely incredible and sounds real healthy. You guys have to see this color out in the sunlight. Burnished Brown shines like gold. Joe's car is the only Phase III 396 car ever built and one of one that color. Joe G is that car registered so we can go for a ride? How about bringing it to The Old Time Drags / Funny Car Reunion in Englishtown NJ on July 24-25? Have you considered putting the Hone O Drive back in? It's only $320 in my old Motion Catalog. Ha Ha........... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Micky.....The information you requested is on its way to you. I finally made it to Kinkos on Wed and made a few copies of the BM bolt-on parts. Ask Joe G to take a pic inside the trunk to show the Dupree Dual Fuel Pumps and mounting location. I sent you one pic but I think its a Nova or Camaro trunk. Either way it's bolted to the right inner wheel housing close to the back seat brace. Hope this helps.

JoeG I have a trailer waiting in Philadelphia if you want to go to scr7 I'll pick you and the car up along the way ...it will only set me back a few hours .....I would be leaving the thursday before and coming back that sunday
Hell of an offer ---- http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif----I would luv to attend SCR7 and see all those great cars in person and talk to the lucky Gearheads who own them---(BUT) personal commitments that time of the year take me out of state --and NO ,I can't park the Chevelle in Philly and have you pick it up http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif----There is always next year God willing and things change----Thanks again-------------Joe

Well, JoeG, as I've stated before: you've got a standing invitation to the SCR. And "when" you do make it to SCR, me and my fellow Chevelle fanatics will be waiting! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
