Heres a protype of a 69 Chevelle Phase 111 would'nt have been cool if there was a real one made it's in black and white but when finished i'll post it in color ..it's almost as hard to build the 18/th scale car as it is the real one ..this one will get all the motion phase 111 goodies it took me 3 hours just to cut the roof and polish the pillars , it now has the stinger hood , torque thrust but I think the slots will look better..it will loose the SS stripes when painted ..does yours have a paint code ...great color!!..I'm hand building the 427 with motion covers and air filter and the phase 111 ignition box...well I think i took up enough space hope you guy's enjoy the prototype......

:Very cool: Looking model----That '69 had great lines for a convertable.----Now if you could only turn back the hands of time with that Motion clock ,so I could buy one from Baldwin /Motion,I'd owe you Bigtime http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif--JoeG

At the SCR6 dinner, during Desert,I could've sworn Joel Rosen said NO Convertibles were Phase III modified.
Anyone else try the Cheeries Jubliee.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I agree with that statement in reguard to the no conv Phase III statements. He indicated that there were only 10 made and none were ragtops.
