Would like to extend a big sYc welcome to our newest member, Helen Gibb. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Not that she is any stranger here, as she has been "hanging" around here from almost the beginning. Maybe we can coax her into sharing stories of how it was back in the day at the Gibb dealership and at the track. And, who knows, maybe get some photos of her and/or Nancy behind the wheel of the Nova. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Hi Helen! Welcome aboard http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I'm going to give up a little known secret about Helen. She's quite a talented writer and has even done some poetry. I have one of her originals framed here at home. Let's see if we can get her to supply us with a sample or two. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

"Welcome Aboard" May I just address you as Helen or should I say Mrs. Gibb?? Helen does have plenty to talk about. You may have to stand in line awhile, but will time well spent?

"Thanks" to all of you that have given me such a warm welcome to your group. I have observed from the sidelines for quite some time and I feel like I know many of you.

For those who have called me "Mrs. Fred Gibb"----I was proud to have had that name. However, now all my friends call me "Helen" and I consider you my friends.

After many of you had heard that I had purchased #50 1968 COPO Nova, you sent congratulations to me via the internet, e-mail and phone calls. That really meant a lot to me. Thanks!

I already know many of you and hope to meet others. If I am at a car show, please come by and we'll get acquainted. (I don't know about Charley-------he gives me a rough time! Ha Ha)

Let's see----requests are for car stories, pictures, poetry etc.. I'll try to one of these days, but for right now I think that I will continue mostly reading about all of you (and learning) as a spectator.

To you, my friends, thanks again!

Helen....Fantastic to see you here!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the board, it is very exciting to have you join us! I think it is wonderful that you have decided to become a member and look forward to reading your future posts.

Please keep us up to date on your new purchase. We want pics of when you give Mayor B that first ride!

And, from a more selfish point of view, now I get a chance to publically thank you for all of the help and the great friendship you gave Dennis and continue to do so for me.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Take Care and Enjoy the Site.
Lots of Love,

Welcome aboard Helen! I have had so much fun since we first met in 1999 at the first show. Thank you for introducing me to so many friends through your support and encouragement after finding and restoring your first racecar. Your family has become my second family. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif
