Are these supposed to be refectorized ? The stripes on mine seem to have the top color "layered" onto the bottom colors...is this correct or were the originals one piece with all 3 colors ?

Chances are pretty slim of finding an NOS set Don...would they even be any good after all these years ?

Here is who was and may still be making them, GM Repro Approved:

Dale's Cuda Shop
22840 Buck Road
Alliance, Ohio 44601
216-823-2776

I got some direct from them in 1995 for my 69, they were top quality. They still look as nice today as the day I put them on.

Worth a try,

Steve

69'S ARE A WHOLE DIFFERENT ANIMAL BOB. TRY STENCILS AND STRIPES. IF YOU HAVE NO LUCK, I'LL FIND YOU SOME NOS ONES OR MAYBE I'LL SELL MINE. WHEN YOU HAVE A HIGH END CAR LIKE YOURS UNLIKE PUTTING STRIPES ON A PLAIN OL 69, YOU HAVE TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Here is a picture of the stripes on the Orbit Orange Judge I had. If you take a picture using the flash on the camera the stickers will come out reflectorized (sp?) The Judge decals also do the same. I will take some of the White 70 Judge I have now.

Thanks Steve...looks like the stripes are pulled down pretty close to the body line too...mine are about 3/4 inch above the body line...oh and a hard lesson learned....Eastwood argent Rally for "all" rallye wheels is not correct on this thing...too light...dammit

Ralley I's look a bit lighter than Ralley II's the silver part that is. I think Ames or Performance Years sells the correct paint and mask kit.

Bob, Check your assembly manual. They are almost .25 inches off the body line. I can't recall the exact dimension.

Assy Manual says .40 off the body line...I said this before but it's interesting that there are 2 pages in the 70 manual showing the rear of a 70 with a wing and 2 different locations for the Judge sticker...one page shows a "GTO" sticker on the decklid with a Judge sticker on the spoiler ala 69...the next page shows the Judge sticker on the decklid with a notation to paint spoiler black to match something...the typing is so small its really hard to read this stuff...Steve...I'm leaving the wheels on the light side...it took a few days of work to restore them and I don't feel like blasting them again and buying another set of templates...
