i know this sounds crazy but years ago in the late 80s i did alot of camaro deals with a fellow in central florida that bought and sold alot of rare camaros 67-69 z28s,ss-rs's,pacecars etc,and had 4 tractor-trailer containers full of rare parts 302s,427s,69 crossrams (complete)he even had a complete rear disc 12 bolt,he had about 20-30 gm quarter panels this guy had a very serious collection/parts buisiness, after a while of dealing with him he told me to stop by one day so he could show me his private collection which consisted of mostly 63-67 corvettes he had around 12-15 i believe, but what really knocked me out was a 69 camaro convertible in the corner that he said he had bought in the mid 70s it had rs-ss trim, white ext. deluxe comfortweave int, 4spd, a/c,and a 427 between the fenders!!!!and loaded with options, and what was really wierd was that the cowl tag had x's stamped all across it!!!! from top to bottom so you could not see no codes at all!!! he told me it was a special order for a gm executive kind of like the estes z convertible??? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif i was just wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of such a car?????? or could it be just b-s??? after seeing the estes car now i am starting to wonder!!!!!
