Does anyone have any information on this intake such as production #, set up, size of carbs ,jets, type of air cleaners, etc. It is a motion performance 2x4 high rise intake with motion performance and the address stamped on it. If I was more profecent with a computer I would attach photos. email for downloads. Thanks [email protected]

Here is a couple of pic he emailed me of this manifold.

Note close up of MOTION stamping near the dist hole.

I am not familar with this type intake on BM cars. I thought they were usually tunnel rams with two carbs. someone could have used a letter set to fake this. I have not seen anything marked like this yet on one of the documented cars.

thanks for the post of the pictures, The guy I got it from is a Plumbing Contractor in Nevada and says he has owned it since the early 70~S.I can`t believe it is a Fake, but you never know, and it wasn`t cheap.Would not be the first time I thought I had an original something only to later find it wasn`t. Hopefully Joel can shed some light.

Looks like an Offy intake with all the Offy logos ground off and Motion wording added... doesnt seem like something Motion would take the time to do IMO. Based on original pics published of the Motion cars when new, the Motion crew seemed to generally do stuff as quickly and painlessly as possible... if it took an extra 10 min. of effort to do something neatly, they skipped it...I find it hard to imagine Joel (or Joel paying someone else) to sit and grind logos off intakes and hand stamp Motion Performance into them... although it is possible I suppose...they did that with the "Phase III" ignition boxes, although a much simpler process... Did Motion even use Offy stuff on their cars? I'm sitting here beside about 4 Motion catalogs, and don't see an Offy product in any of em, or any low rise 2x4 setup for that matter. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
