We're thinking about one more, we have three now. One more can not be that much more work?

I remember the first time I took my son for a ride in my '67 SS 396 Camaro (stock). He was 2 and sitting in his car seat in the right rear. I drove to my favorite spot for opening it up and let'er rip. The sound of the Q-jet secondaries and the exhaust (old turbo muffler duals) coupled with the acceleration really grabbed him. As soon as I let off (around 90) he yelled "AGAIN! AGAIN!" from the back seat. My emotions at that moment cannot be adequately described here. I thought "That's my boy!"
Life IS good.

I know what you mean ,my Grand kids were visiting for 2 weeks one summer and my Grandson was 7 at the time.Me and my Soninlaw went to the local cruise spot on Saturday and my Grandson went along with us and he had a great time.He asked many questions that night about all the cars.there must have been about 125 cars there that night.Well to make a long story short when we left to go to another gathering place about 8 miles away in my BIG BLOCK Chevelle, a guy with a 70 el Camino with a small block and a small blower wanted to play!Well by the time I bumped 3rd gear pretty hard we were about 5 cars out on him and the small block just could not HANG.We came to a red light and the Elcamino pulled up beside us and was talking to me and all I could hear was my Grandson hollering from the back seat TRY HIM AGAIN PAW PAW,TRY HIM AGAIN PAW PAW.Well the road was extremely clear and when the light turned green it was on.Looked like an instant replay! My grandson was smiling from ear to ear and telling me PAW PAW THAT WAS FUN LET'S FIND ANOTHER ONE!Me and my soninlaw was just laughing so hard we almost had tears. It is nice to see the young ones appreciate the fun you can have with the OLDER CAR'S.

A belated Congrats to you and the wife Eddy. They are a true joy in life as I have just found out myself. We have a little guy who was born September 10th. Here are a couple car guy pictures he volunteered for. (lol)

Here he is holding a near NOS rosewood wheel at 6 weeks.

Here he is wearing his lil' bowtie shirt at 11 weeks.
Can't wait till he's old enough to learn about vintage cars!
Graeme http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif
...He must be thinking...
.."I wonder what this thing will do?" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
..or
..."AHHHH! ...The feel of NEW OLD STOCK!" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Bob,
That picture was on my web site for a few weeks with a closed in caption that said: "Smoked that Ricer". If I can instill three things upon my son as he grows up, they will include Levi's Rule, Chicks go with Cars, and Never Ever Ever drive a Ricer!

All I can hope is classic muscle cars make a strong resurgence along with mini skirts for the dames. That and hope ricers have been cast aside like a bad fashion of the past. Heres to hopin!
