Hello , I was wondering if anyone has gone to Mecum's muscle car sale before in Belvidere,IL ? A friend of mine and I are thinking about going May 28-31 but We were wondering what's it like ? Looking at Mecums web site there are alot of outstanding cars that are going to be in it , several of Cliff Ernst Yenkos, Pete Estes 68 Z28 convert, LS6 convert etc. Any info or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you ,
David

Welcome David.
It is a Nice auction area.Plenty of cars as well as bidders.Alot of brokers there on cellphones communicating with their buyers, willing to Ante up.
But you can get find a good common car,for a Fair price there too. Those cars you specifically mentioned are sure to be the headliners.

Those are some headliner cars too!!!!!!! Which lead me to think this might be a good auction to check out , if Mecums brings these kind of cars to auction is the rest of the cars they bring in also really good quality? My friend is looking for something new and we where looking at the 375 hp cars or the LS5 or LS6 chevelles although the Yenko chevelle really has his interest peaked . We have looked at a few cars lately that we were just to late to get to so he thought this might be a nice change with trying a new auction venue, so I thought I would ask around about Mecums .
Thanks again for your input
