The tow Camaro was compliments of Briggs Chevrolet in South Amboy NJ. It was later painted just like the Jungle Jim F/C by Circus Custom Paints in Farmingdale NJ. About 10 minutes from me.

I was watching NHRA drag racing last weekend and saw a Funny Car (Bob Gilbertson I think) driving a car with a very cool "Jungle Jim" paint job. It looked awesome!!!

In the first photo you can see Jungle Jim and "Jungle Pam" standing behind the white tow car. "Jungle Pam" was his girlfriend and was, shall we say, impressive to watch as she guided Jungle Jim after his burnouts.

Yep, "impressive" is the operative word where Jungle Pam is concerned. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Saw her at Englishtown in the 70's. I think the event was called the " Halter-Top Nationals ". She had a t-shirt on that read "More Tits in the Pits". She took it off in front of the crowd and put on her halter top, what a show!!!

Pretty nice in person too, we see her each year at the York show. She was quite the personality back in the day. Which one was more popular, Jungle Pam or Linda Vaughn?

If I gotta' get off the fence I'd have to come down on Linda Vaughn's side, especially circa-1966 (see photo).

In reference to Marlin's photo:

In polite society they would say that Ms. Hardy "had raisins for breakfast."

These kids will learn someday... You will just wake up one day and realize that you are getting old...!

Two years ago I rode my bike to Knoxville Tn. 15 hrs straight through and then got up and rode Deals Gap the next morning (314 turns in 11 miles) and then rode back home the day after non stop except for gas of course.

Of course Belair and I have not done that yet but perhaps someday? RIGHT..? Belair? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

My bike only does 2 turns per mile.
