My dad, brother, and I recieved a 31 Model A for free. This old man owned it and gave it to us as a gift. The problem is that we DO NOT have a title for it. The car came from Georgia and the old man says the guy who he bought it from is no longer living. We do not know what to do. Is there anywhere on the internet or anywhere that we can try to apply for a title? I thought that some people on here might of ran across a problem like this before. ANYONES help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! THANKS A MILLION!
THANKS,
Zach
You should just be able to register the car as long as you can show the car was given to you ----( handwritten letter signed by the person giving you the car as a gift),old registration,if one exits,----But since every state is different, call your Motor Vehicle Dept.and confirm what YOU need, before they have you running back and forth.---- There were no titles on vehicles,-- at least in N.Y. pre'74.

Do a Google search for Broadway Title out of Alabama, they provide a title service for cars that are more then 10 years old.

Do an internet search for "irfanview" its a free program that's great for printing and adjusting the size of photos. I've been using it for years. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
