I love flea markets and garage sales. You never know what you can find at these things.

Lucked out today at the Fleamarket and picked up a almost new, pair of 15x7 Craiger Mags (w/perfect chrome and no dings on the edges).

I was thinking they would look great day 2 on my '69 L-78 Nova? Does anybody have any first hand knowledge putting this size of wheel on the front of a Nova? I would like to have a pair of 4" skinnys but these may have to do. They are hard to find in such good shape with no blemishes on the chrome.

Later at a Garage sale on my way home, they had a old gas pump for $200. If it would have been topped with a glass globe, I would have jumped on it for that price. This one is as tall as I am. 6'3". (No wise cracks now)

I did have to have an old EXON "tiger in your tank" advertizment cut out of Life magazine, that was even framed for only .50.

The 15x7s will fit the front. I don't remember if the old style cragers needed a spacer for disc brakes or not.The new style do not. The Fentons that I had needed a spacer to clear. Schonye

Schonye do you have any vintage pics of the Fentons installed on the Deuce back then? Hey BTW did you have that long hair back then to? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Frank, I think I have 1 somewhere. I'll try to find it. And yes my hair was long back then too, and I had the goatee. Schonye

I think you should put the 7's on the back and buy the 4-inch skinnies for the front.

Trust me I am looking for just that setup myself. perhaps by the time I can get the car put back together I will find a pair. I just could not let these get away for what I paid for them.

Wow that is a lot more than I had to pay for these. They sure do look good though. I can see that I will have to find some like yours somewhere and use mine on the back.

That price you got for yours sure makes me feel good since I only paid $10 each for these wheels. Talked the guy down from $15 each. He thought they were 14" not 15" and I didn't bother to tell him.

The 15x4 Cragars are still available new.

I personally think 15x7's are way to big on the front end of a Nova but thats IMHO.

I agree, 7's are the limit up front as far as the vintage look is concerned--IMHO. If you look at the Hassett '68 Motion Camaro, he says his Cragars are 15x7's on the front with E70s and 15x8s on the back with G70s. I've stared at those photos of the Hassett car in the June Musclecar Enthusiast and I think that Cragar S/S's and redlines look oh-so-good.
