If you look closely, the car really isn't that great. Look at the interior and dash. JMO Sam

Whats the door pocket thing on the drivers door panel. Looks like it has a bowtie on it...never seen that on a chevelle

In response to the video about this car, who owns the red
L-78 Chevelle convertible that was sold through a dealer in Iowa? And what dealership was it sold through?

Although not a Big deal, his statement of one of 6 known to exist is not accurate.
There are at least 10 Documented 1970 Chevelle L78 Convertibles that I know of,that are still on the road today.I know of 8 more that are undocumented and need to have more research done to show their authenticity.
Being the Minority, only two of them have a TH400 Transmission.
That one is a Beautiful looking Chevelle. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have a gross of Chevrolet 8tk tape, door mounted holders, and put a set in my Chevelle for kicks,.....they do look good.

The white '70 Chevelle LS5 convertible currently listed on ebay and bid up to $135,000 as of this evening is interesting as well.

Auction ended prematurely with $144,100.00 bid on it.
Anyone?

This dealer had this car listed in several sources besides the ebay listing that closed early. One ad (not on ebay) listed the car for $165,000. My guess is someone offered at or near this price and it changed hands.
