Pretty car!
Is that round mirror correct on a 68 Chevy II?

Yep. The vintage mags are way cool too, although a set of whitestripes or redlines would do it a world of good from an overall appearance standpoint IMO. Looks like a pretty nice original 6 popper. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

More pics than I have seen in an auction in a while. Did you notice the GTO Judge in the background?

Let's see... In goes a 540-inch Bill Mitchell "Hardcore" crate motor with aluminum heads. Put a M-22 behind it and a beefed 12-bolt with 4:10 gears. G70 redlines in back, E70s up front on those mags. Oh, and Cal-Tracs bars.
Alright.....427TJ is not allowed to Bid on this car. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It does my heart god to see you boys get pumped up about the lowly "Chevy 2". Rumor has it there may be an interesting 68 BB Nova at GM Carlisle.....?????

HAHAHAHA!
Yeah, I guess we need to preserve as many 6-banger Chevy II's as we can!
You gotta' admit, my plan would result in a FUN car.
